Program
The program for this year will focus on microtonal guitars. Matthew Grasso performs on a 14-note octave guitar set in 7-limit just intonation. Giacomo Fiore brings to the stage a national steel resonator guitar conceived by Lou Harrison and set in 11-limit just intonation. Bay Area guitarist Ricardo Piexoto performs Brazilian jazz on a 7-string guitar. Hobbyist George Cooper will perform on a unique extended 6-string guitar. Trio Seven (an extended 7-string guitar trio) will perform famous movie themes. To put the icing on the cake, we are featuring composer Daniel Paulson, who was born on July 7, 1977 (7-7-77)
